The examination will be continued Tuesday. Their bonds were fixed at $2000 each. Assistant United States Attorney Walter E. Hettman is conducting the prosecution.

It is charged that the five men. all of whom are natives of the island of Malta, conspired to counterfeit the coin of the United States. When the raid was made. Captain. Karry Moffitt of the United States Secret Service, and Detectives Regan. Mannion. Burke and Richards of the local police force, seized a number of spurious coins of the denominations of one dollar, fifty cents, twenty-five cents, ten cents and five cents. The men against whom the indictment was found are Alfredl Schembrl, John Calley, Frank Aquillna. Joe Aguas and Paul Borges.
